I grew up in Manning Park, for 2 weeks every summer. My brother and I loved fishing in Lightning Lake and we would compete for who caught the most fish over the 2 weeks. Fast forward, 40ish years, I take my son there every summer and we hike as many trails as we can as we camp over a few days. My parents still join us and enjoy the resort as they can’t camp anymore, but they still enjoy campfires in the evening. It’s truly my favourite place on earth!
