Dad was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour just a couple months before this was taken.
Things we knew: the weather was beautiful and Dad loved fishing at Lightning Lake.
Things we didn’t know: how much time we had left with Dad and how many more times he would get to go fishing.
I took the day off work and we drove to Manning Park and fished for the day. I’m so glad we did. We had so many wonderful family memories at Manning Park together and this was one of them.
