Join us for Lights on Lightning Lake – Lantern Workshop & Launch!
Learn to create your very own floating lantern during our day workshop, then join us for the evening event to light your lanterns and launch them onto the lake for a stunning display that cannot be missed!
Lantern Building Workshop
10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Lightning Lake Day Use Area
Join us to create your own unique lantern design, or get help from our experts during this workshop!
Lantern making kits are available
Single kit: $23
2 Kits: $35
3 Kits: $50
The workshop is first-come, first-served, and cash only. Lanterns or lantern-making kits cannot be purchased in advance, and must be built on-site at Lightning Lake.

Lantern Launch
9:30 pm at Lightning Lake – Spruce Bay Beach
Float your lantern onto the waters of Lightning Lake and enjoy the stunning show! Please meet at Spruce Bay beach (parking available at Spruce Bay Parking Lot, in Lightning Lake Campground)
