Everything was really wonderful, especially all the folks working at the resort. We had to change our original travel dates due to wildfire smoke and they were super helpful and accommodating. The property itself is maintained really well and was clean. It is showing its age though and some gentle upgrades without losing its old-world charm will probably be nice. The only real complaint is that despite the resort itself being pet-friendly, dining is a challenge as pets are not allowed in the restaurant. I know we can do a takeaway and eat in our room but that is not the most convenient. Maybe a separate section in the restaurant building, or a separate dining room at the lodge to cater to families with pets would be a nice add.Posted on Google![]()

Full disclosure I didn't actually stay AT the resort, I was in their parking lot for a fair bit of a day and the location is beautiful, the lodging from the exterior seems lovely. However being a top google reviewer still has zero perks and I have too many dogs and children to have enough money to stay places(it's probably more deserving than 3 stars on the other fronts but I can't say so for sure)Posted on Google![]()

We absolutely loved our stay at Manning Park Resort! We stayed in one of the newer Premium Cabins, and it was the perfect getaway surrounded by nature. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully set up for a relaxing family stay. The scenery around the resort is incredible, and there are so many things to explore nearby. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful trails, and the overall feeling of being away from the city. A wonderful place for a family getaway, a nature escape, or simply a chance to slow down and reset. We’d definitely love to come backPosted on Google![]()

What do you know about traveling with 2 other strangers in an electric car? Well, we found ourselves stranded at the Manning Park Resort. The staff were extremely empathetic and provided us with a great rate to spend the night. There is something to be said about friendly hospitality in less populated areas. The pub worker, Dylan (?), was so kind to take pity on the 2 others after my visit, & gave them a drink on the house. Everything & everyone at Manning Park Resort was everything that 3 strangers kidnapped together by trauma bonding could ask for! #butdidyoudie+1Posted on Google![]()

We stayed at Manning Resort this August when wildfires were impacting the Fraser Valley and surrounds. Even though we needed to cut our trip short because of air quality and haze the staff and hotel were wonderful, professional, and generous in dealing with us during this difficult time (and they were also wonderful to our dog!). I have stayed once before at this hotel which is in one of the most stunning locations in BC, and we will absolutely be back. Huge thanks to everyone at Manning Resort.Posted on Google![]()

Scary stuff with the wildfires. Many of the EV chargers were overheating and not working but with some patience and the help of friendly people it worked out. Great spot! Will return when it's not dangerous.Posted on Google![]()

The smoke from the nearby Ptarmigan fire is absolutely nauseating. That said, the lodge is amazing, the people are amazing, the proximity to lightning lakes is amazing. Hoping for clear days and a change in wind direction soon :))Posted on Google![]()

We absolutely love this place! My parents, now in their mid eighties, have been traveling to Manning Park Resort for almost 60 years and we have been hooked since childhood. The resort understandably has more restrictive booking/cancellation policies; however, when we ran into issues with wildfire smoke recently, they were extremely generous and understanding with us. 5 stars for service with a special shout-out to Nicole at the front desk. The rooms are lovely – basic, but clean and comfortable with gorgeous surroundings. We also love the restaurant on site. It has fresh, healthy offerings with tons of variety and gluten-free alternatives. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

We have driven by many times but thought to stay a few days. It was the best decision. Front desk gave us a premier cabin. It was well appointed and comfortable. The photos are accurate. The staff was efficient, professional and very kind. All our needs were met. Shoutout to all the front desk who made it a perfect little holiday for a couple of people who have not been able to getaway for 3 years. Thanks to Sara for finding the toaster and told us a few places to visit. Noah for helping with the ceiling fan. Met a lot of wonderful people staying at the resort We will be back for sure hopefully with a few family and friends. Loved the ground squirrels. A highlight. All the best. This lodge offers a very nice stay in an isolated place. The scenery is beautiful, our room was VERY spacious, there's a coffee machine, an area to hang outdoor clothing, the laundry facilities include a soap dispenser - very nice touch. The lobby is a cute as the pictures. The restaurant is the only one around, we had dinner there, it wasn't gourmet but hot and filling. The staff are accommodating and friendly both at the lobby and the restaurant. The beds were adequate but not luxurious. This is a nice camping/cabin/lodge facility on spacious grounds. I would stay again.Posted on Google![]()
