The Manning Park SRDP is subject to public engagement from September 8th to November 1st, 2026.
Every project that is approved in the Master Plan is subject to further individual assessments and review processes when they are pursued. Project-specific Environmental Impact Assessments, which include review of archaeological surveys, hydrology reports, old-growth forest, and identified sensitive habitats, will all play an essential role in project decision-making. Working closely with BC Parks, we will strike an important balance between conservation and recreation.
The Alpine Ski Area Plan presents a long-term vision for enhancing and modernizing the alpine experience at Manning Park Resort while aligning with market demand, site conditions, BC Parks policy, and the E.C. Manning Provincial Park Management Plan.
The plan includes expanded and better-balanced ski terrain, strategically realigned chairlifts, improved skier circulation, a reimagined pedestrian-friendly base area, enhanced guest services, and expanded parking. Together, these improvements are designed to create a more seamless guest experience—from arrival to the slopes—while strengthening Manning Park’s position as a premier winter recreation destination.
The Lodge Area Plan outlines a thoughtful vision for the continued evolution of Manning Park Resort, supporting future growth while enhancing the overall guest experience.
Planned improvements include six additional Premium Cabins, three new Chalets, expanded summer recreation opportunities, optimized parking, a potential relocation of the tube park, and future enhancements to Manning Park Lodge, including an elevator to improve accessibility.
The plan also identifies opportunities to enhance landscaping, strengthen trail connections, and further develop the Village Core, ensuring Manning Park continues to evolve as a welcoming, four-season mountain destination.
The Support Services Area Plan recognizes that exceptional guest experiences begin behind the scenes. The plan supports the continued growth of Manning Park Resort through future investments in staff housing, maintenance facilities, and operational infrastructure.
By expanding accommodation options for employees and enhancing essential support services, the plan ensures the resort is well-positioned to attract and retain staff while delivering outstanding service and supporting sustainable, long-term growth.
The Ski Resort Development Plan represents a bold and inspiring vision for the future of Manning Park Resort—one that thoughtfully balances growth, sustainability, and stewardship. By integrating enhanced guest experiences, expanded recreation opportunities, modern infrastructure, workforce accommodations, and operational excellence, the plan creates a strong foundation for the resort’s continued evolution as a premier four-season destination.
Rooted in respect for the surrounding natural environment, this long-term vision ensures Manning Park will continue to inspire adventure, foster meaningful connections with nature, and create unforgettable experiences for generations of guests to come.
