With the clear, sunny days of the past week (and fresh snow of today) lots of people have been taking advantage of the snowshoe trails at Manning Park Resort. A great place for snowshoeing, the Resort offers a fantastic variety of terrain that suits the first-timer or avid enthusiast and encompasses everything from mellow one-hour loops to more challenging options that can be combined with an overnight camp. Among our more popular trails (and staff picks) are the Similkameen River trail and loops, Lightning Lake loop and trail to Cascade Lookout. Use of trails is free and trail maps can be obtained from Manning Park Resort’s Nordic Centre (located behind the main Lodge). Snowshoes are also available for (hourly/daily) hire.
